GBA 2022

GBA22

Please note: We’d like to apologise for the fact that the printed flyers erroneously state £170 per room rather than the actual cost of £170 per person.

We need to talk. It’s been a difficult time, hard to cope with. Things have changed since we last met. We need to take stock. We need to think about the future. We need to talk.

So we’ve made Assembly 2022 different. On the Wednesday we’re not going to have a single speaker, but a panel. Our guests may have varying perspectives but they all come with Biblical insight and practical experience. So we’re going to set them some questions, listen to their responses and interactions, and, we trust, have some great conversations during our time together. We want to return home thinking more clearly about church life in our changed world.

Phil Arthur will take us back in history to consider Baptists who had to live and worship in a time of upheaval and revolution. What have they to teach us? In the evenings we’ve asked Phil Heaps to preach God’s unchanging Word to us. Colin Grimwood will open our Assembly and Ole Kristian Hunt will close it.

As always, we value reports about real, local church life, so we expect the afternoon report sessions to be a highlight again – honest, moving and encouraging. If you’re able to contribute please get in touch using the details below.

The Assembly’s purpose is to help and strengthen local churches and we’d love to see you there.

The timetable for the three days is shown below. Click on the brochure to view a PDF copy of it.
